Question Patterns for Waldorf Doll CLOTHES? (free online or either to order)

Help?

I've been looking online for a hour and need to get offline so we can decorate our house with Winter Holiday things.

I have two of Stephanie's (tip toe fairy) amazing dolls and one of my daughters wants more clothing for the doll and has asked for it for Christmas gift. My girls are not asking for hardly anything this year so I am hurting for ideas for them and now that one of them actually gave me "wish" of more doll clothes.....I need to move on this! *lol*

Our budget it starting to squeak *lol* due to how tight it is this year and I need to try to sew these on my own using various fabric scraps I have around the house.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can find patterns?

I'd love links to free online ones....but can order a pattern if I need to. (but would have to order soon)

I did see the ones at Joys Waldorf dolls and they are not the style my daughter wants. I also saw the patterns on Weier (sic) and those are OK but still not quite what she wants. My dd wants more of a petal dress type of style and those types of clothing.....not the old fashioned little house on the prairie type that I am seeing online.

Can anyone help with links?

Thanks mamas,

Michelle

I have lots of patterns from the big three comapnies (Simplicity, McCalls, Butterick) and some of them are sized for smaller dolls. If your doll is a bit wider than the size the pattern is made for just use a smaller seam allowance to compensate (serging would be perfect). Hope that helped a bit! I know McCalls is on sale thru tomorrow for $1.

Thanks! I'll look....Wal Mart is the only place in our town to buy patterns. So I'm guessing the $1 sale was for one of the big fabric stores?

I didi not even think about that. After our blizzard blows over, I'll head out to the store to look at the McCalls/Simplicity patterns at Wal Mart.

Hugs,
Michelle

Hey you I have been looking for the same exact thing, lol. I accidently came across this site today http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/preemies.html#sewing

The patterns are for preemies, but I'm sure they will fit the waldorf dolls. That's what I'm going to use for my dd's new waldorf doll (christmas secret).

I havn't looked through them yet, so good luck!

Try searching for patterns for 14- 16" dolls. There's a bunch of stuff for Bitty Baby, Raggedy Ann and other dolls that will probably fit with a little modification. I ended up here after a really fast search
