Ok a year ago I talked about this tree I wanted to make and finally I scanned the pic from the book! I might give it a go soon (we will be gone for Thanksgiving weekend and no puter and if I can't sleep LOL might as well bring it) and see if it turns out! I have all the supplies here!

Making Fairies & Fantastical Creatures by Julie Sharp
It is pipe cleaners. The full size one takes 380 brown and 100 green! I'm thinking of trying the same technique on a smaller scale first. The top is a canopy that can be removed! I'll let ya know how it goes!
Ok I could not wait so I made one today I will take a pic soon! It did turn out pretty cool! I'm glad I made a smaller one cause it took 5 hours to make!
My smaller version is still like about a foot tall! The size the book talks about must be huge! I'm also thinking of making a canopy that is reds, oranges, and yellows for fall! So I can interchange them- the canopy- green part- comes off.

A foot tall? I was imagining a mini like half that size. Buckets, the book tree must be HUGE!
I think the fall tree would be really handsome too.
