Origami for the ornament swap?

I've been practicing my origami with DD and we've been doing stars. I'm debating whether this is "good enough" for the ornament swap. Feedback? My back up plan is moons with a little star hanging over them....I got this idea from a website and they look darn cute.

which would you prefer?

ok.... looking for problems here.. I have a 2 year old, a pretty paper star might get unfolded...

But i LOVe paper ornaments... so???

Ooo, could you share the link for that site? Last year I had to take the tree down because everything kept getting knocked off of it. This year I am keeping the breakables packed and my four kids are making all the decorations for the tree. I think they would love to do origami!

I bet those stars would turn out awesome made out of cool paper... but those moons I would be happy with either though!

I was ROFL at the comment on the throwing star instructions...
"and toss at unsuspecting sibling"
