With a nod to Kelly at Dancing Goddess. . , A C-n-S

Had a gorgeous sarong-- one of my favorites-- that got thrown in the dryer by my dh and shrunk, sigh. Wanted to try something and this seemed like the perfect material. I shaped her different than Kelly's 'cause I alseady feel like a copy cat, but I think I like the shape. Next time I'd make the arms wider. She's got a necklace of citrine chips and gold wire life spirals and is holding a quartz crystal. I wanted to use a prism, thinking that having her cast rainbows would be really cool, but didn't have one. Her hair is dyed and curled raffia and she's stuffed with raw cotton from a field about 15 minutes from here. Was going to embroider a face, but after I got it finished I'm not sure-- opinions?
Thanks for looking at my morning madness.

Thanks, she was really fun to make. Now I've got to figure out with the rest of the sarong so I can stop grieving (rofl)

She's WONDERFUL and I love her without facial details. How tall is she? I can't tell if she's a petite 6" or 2'. I'd love her in my house either way!!! Great job Mama.

I was trying for 16" but what with reshaping after I had her cut out, she ended up being 14 1/2" . I think she's going to be the centerpiece of the nature table I'm starting for dd.

If you're serious, I've got enough of the rainbow fabric, but her hair would have to be different. have no idea what to charge but I'm always up for trades

Shannon, would something like this (in a smaller size) be appropriate for the nature table swap? I think I've got enough fabric for 5 little ones but am not sure if she's too religion specific.

I, and a friend of mine would both love a small one, if you're up to selling/trading.

I think that would be perfect for the swap and if someone doesn't want it they can send it to me. They can just specify that they don't want any religious or goddess stuff and it will be sent to someone else. And I'm going to pm you.

Great, though with the requests I've been getting I might have to find another sarong. LOL!
