This is an adoption agency that is so so so much more than an adoption agency. they offer hope to children who will never be able to be placed into an adoptive home. Without this program many of these children would live their lives out in a government orphange, many having little to no human contact.
AGCI provides homes that are similar to foster care and they have also gone into the government orphanages and cleaned, painted, and then provided "mothers" to hold, rock, and care for children. These "mothers" are there long-term and provide love and attachment that these children would not get other-wise.
Many of you may not know the extent of misery that parentless children live in other countries. It is horrible in so many cases and this agency is making a real difference.
I stumbled across their mission while on my own adoption journey and I have had a great heart for their work ever since.
Today, I went to their website again for the first time in years and saw they they have had to close down two of their homes. My heart is broken over this.
I know this is Christmas and so many of us are given-out. But if you have any left over, please consider this agency. they have calendars FS, as well as a music CD, and oppurtunities to sponser a child as well.

One idea (I will be doing this with my children) is to go to the sponser page and let my children choose a child to sponser. There are several with no sponsers at all...
