Breastfeeding your toddlerSTILL GOT MILK? Are you the one people ask 'are you STILL breastfeeding??' are mee nums still a daily (or even weekly) event? this place holds lots of nips (i mean tips) for you.
Me too!
I'm tandeming for the 3rd time. This time it is with 22mo ds and 3wko dd. I really enjoy the difference in their "styles." Ds is usually doing a headstand while he nurses on one side while my sweet little newborn is cuddling with her eyes closed, nursing away. I just love it!

Me, too. (Or should it be me four?) I'm nursing my 3.5 yo DD and my 1 yo DS. DD only nurses first thing in the morning and sometimes before her afternoon nap. DS nurses all the time, LOL.

I tandemed Eli & Jack for a year. Eli weaned in april at 3 yrs, 8 mos. I miss it, lol. But he's getting really "big" now, growing and changing and learning new things every day. It's a bittersweet part of parenting, letting them go.

I am. Victoria will be 3 in Oct and nurses for naps and bedtime and she still wakes in the middle of the night. I have only nursed them both at the same time once, she has cut down alot since baby came since if baby is nursing she can't. She seems fine with it for the most part

So, what positions does everyone use? I usually nurse them both on an oversized poppy pillow at the same time. Ds (almost 2yo) doesn't nurse as much as the baby, but still several times a day. I have only nursed them both at night a couple times, thank goodness. I think it is so cute when he reaches out to hold her hand or gives her a kiss when he is done nursing. This time is so precious.
the only time I do it together is either in bed with me on my side with Konur coming up and over my side or when they are both straddling a leg and sitting up when I am in a chair.
a friend is a professional photpgrapher and wants to take picts of us tandem nursing for her post folio!
Oh Lori, get those pics done! They will be wonderful!
I tandem nursed for about 10 months. I never nursed both at the same time though. My dd is convinced that she's going to nurse again someday -- and she hasn't nursed since Sept. 1st!
Kristan, I hope you have some photos taken of your two together as well.

WOW! I thought everyone nursed at the same time! I guess I am in the minority.
Lyn, I would love to have some nursing pics done. I have someone in mind to ask, but if she is unavailable, I'll have to wait for Sarah to get back from Spain!
I tandem nursed twice -- once through a pregnancy -- that was tough.
I am now down to only one child.
I nursed both at the same time at the start but then just alternated during the day. I couldn't handle the physical differences in nursing at the same time.
- Deborah (new to this discussion but needing support as I wind down nursing after 7 years!)
DD is 6 yrs adn still nurses all the time.... I see no end in sight for this girl
DS is 27 mths, and nursed all teh time too. Basicaly if there is a boob in the room one of mine is one it.
We nurse together all the time, several times a day. I have never had a problem with it, They loves to play games together while nursing, and basically have a ball together
I am. I've got a 27mo and a 5mo that I'm nursing (both were 2months premature and would "never" nurse, mind you ) I try not to do them both at the same time unless they are both ready for a nap at the same time because I am much more impatient with tandem nursing than I'd like to admit. I'm not ready to wean the older one, but there are days when nursing them both is really difficult. I keep hearing that it gets easier, so I'm waiting for that day to come, lol.
