Good for you for nursing her so long!!!! It's nice nursing a toddler...usually LOL!

Mary is my longest nurser too...we are on a break due to preg. complications (no flames...thx,again) and stopped at 20mos, but plan on resuming once baby gets here. I'm sure she'll enjoy that as my supply was pretty low, but she still talks to the meemee's, strokes the meemee's and hugs the meemee's. Her most, most favorite meemee time was snuggling in bed after we took a shower. She always wanted to laydown, at 9 mos was already doing the 'pull-back' where she'd try to fall back to get me to lay down.
She also loved crazy positions, once came over the back of the sofa and tried to nurse upside down!! Wondering how she'll adapt to sharing????

Lauren used to say "nurse" starting from about 15 months. We used to say, "Lauren, do you want some boob?" but then decided that whatever we were calling it, she'd start calling it and likely in front of other people; hence the transition from "boob" to "do you want to nurse?" Hence, "nurse, mommy."

Her favorite position was either lying down or cradle (though she'd do gymnastics at times).

We call it milky. Damien likes to nurse every which way he can. It's quite comical, and I've even had an amity mama laugh at his antics ( you know who you are ). SOmetimes he nurses upside down, or his mouth on me but his back to my tummy with his legs hanging off the sofa. My boobs are getting so stretched out. He treats them like silly putty. LOL. His most common way would be either cradle hold or sitting up straddling me, tummy to tummy.

I was just coming over here to ask about this! Nick is 16 months and won't call it anything yet, but he very adamantly points and taps on my breast and if I don't get his clue right away he'll start pulling my shirt up. I call it "num nums" and he understands that but won't say it, even though he has lots of words that he can say. He will nurse in any position and either side, but he has to be doing something with his hands the whole time, caressing, poking, smacking or whatever.

He never says it to anyone else or very loud.
