Unhappy This is worrying me!

I gave birth to my son two months ago. Now my breasts are not the same size. The right is small and the left is big and full of milk, but every time I try to pump it won't come out. Is this normal? Are my breasts ever going to be the same size again? This is worrying me.

in most breastfeeding moms, one breast produces more than the other. often they will look lopsided (). don't worry about it. totally normal. and as for pumping -- stop. some mega milk producers cannot pump but a few drops of milk out. no pump is as effectual as a baby's suck. i've never been able to pump more than a half an ounce, yet i've nursed 3 kids and they've all gotten enough milk from me.

Do you nurse from one side more than the other? And why are you pumping?

I am thinking that they even out after a while.

Oh, and welcome to the board!

My left breast is smaller than the right and I've been told it's perfectly normal. I tried pumping too but the most I got was less than an ounce.
