I didn't notice it so much with my first three, but definitely had the same sensation you are describing with my 4th, my twins and my last baby. It was the weirdest thing with #4 as I had no idea what was going on. I thought I was having an anxiety attack or something as at the time DH was working & living in another city 3-4 days/nights a week. So I was single parenting most of the time. He wasn't much help when he was home as he was so very tired.
I particularily noticed it right before & at let-down. Then it would decrease & finally disappear. I realized it was probably hormonal (it is!). So basically I would breathe through it & remind myself that it was just my hormones being silly and I would think good thoughts about the baby until the sensation passed. It did eventually lessen, but every once in a while it would re-occur. It was much worse with the twins...yikes. I honestly thought I was going to throw up & my heart would even beat faster & my chest would feel tight too. Much like an anxiety attack. Luckily I remembered my experience with DS. With #7 it was worse than with #4, but not as bad as with the twins. It also didn't go on as long as it did with the twins. I was also still nursing the twins at the time, but I always let DS nurse first, whereas with the twins most of the times I was nursing the twins at the same time so double let-down & hormones.
So just to let you know it's not too weird. Still be aware though because I've read somewhere....can't remember...sorry, but that it can be associate with PPD. I had PPD after #4.
