Blister on an infants lip???

I thought I saw a post about this recently but can't find it. After Lily was born I noticed that she seemed to have a blister on her center upper lip from suckling. It is very noticable today and looks like it has popped and peeled. Anyone have experience with this?

All my kids had them, we called them "nursing blisters" they never seemed to bother the babies. I babysat a lot as a teen and the breastfed babies I babysat for also had them, so I thought it was totally normal when my kids did too.

Every breastfed baby I've ever seen had one. I don't think it hurts them.

Thanks so much! Maya never had one and even if she did I think I've forgotten everything about babies right now.
