OT Chloe cut my nipple with her fingernail... is there anyway to help it heal FAST?

Chloe reached out and grabbed my nipple really fast this morning. When she pulled back, it hurt really bad. I thought she just pinched it but upon observation just now, I noticed I have a slice under my nipple. No wonder why it hurts so much when she nurses. I never even experienced this pain when nursing my newborns. I have been putting breastmilk on it, but it really hurts when it is wet Do these things take forever to heal? Man Chloe is awake from her nap and is gonna want to nursie... about to go grit my teeth.

Thanks in advance!!!!

Ouch!!! Lauren did that to me a couple of times when she was nursing. I'm sooo sorry I tried putting lansinoh on my and that seemed to help some, but I dont know if it really made it heal faster. It felt better though.

Hope it doesnt take too long to heal !

I was going to suggest lansinoh. That's what I used when Jakob bit me and drew blood. It seemed to heal pretty quickly.

No help on the nipple booboo, but OW, that sounds like it hurts.

Really cute pic in your sigline, though.

Neosporin heals things really fast for me. You'd have to wipe it off to nurse though.

Calendula gel is my all-time favorite healing gel. Super fast working.

Thanks mamas. I don't have any lansinoh and it kills me to go buy some when I never have even used it before. I might try the neosporin and just wipe it off before nursing. It still hurts pretty bad, but I am trying to grin and bear it. I have never known a pain like this and I have had 300 perinium stitches LOL

Ds nicked me with a new tooth once. I finally used neosporin and pumped on that side for two days rather than nursing. Pumping seemed easier on it and nursing seemed to aggrivate it. I know it hurts -hope you feel better soon!
