Just finished reading it and was really impressed. I had a faint knowledge of who Seabiscuit was, but no idea what a superstar he was in his time. Of course, I knew nothing whatsoever about the owner, jockey, trainer, so reading about them was really interesting too.
I stayed up until 2:30 in the morning finishing it, because I couldn't wait to see how the rivalry between Seabiscuit and War Admiral turned out. The author really wrote the horseracing scenes very well, I could really see in my mind's eye what was going on.
I guess that there will be a movie this summer about the book, I hope that it is as good as the book.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes reading non-fiction, history, or suspense novels. This is not just for people who like horses or horseracing!
