Strapless: John Singer Sargent and the Fall of Madame X by Deborah Davis
A quick nonfiction read, art history/biography...kind of a mishmash but fun. Not enough pictures if you're unfamiliar with Sargent's work.
I especially enjoyed it because it gave some new perspective on a lot of the late 19th/early 20th c. novels I've read. Henry James in particular, which is interesting given that he had some kind of relationship with Sargent. If I had access to a really good academic library I'd be wasting time researching that instead of goofing off online.
