Any opinion on these?

I have a large list of "want to read" books. Let me know if you have read them and opinions. Thanks.

Beyond Antibiotics by Schmidt

True Nature and Great Misunderstandings by John Breeding

Guerrilla Learning by Grace Llewellyn

Nonviolent Commuication by M. Rosenberg

Viral Immunity by J. E. Williams

Medicine Moms by Arlene Uhl

End of Homework by Buell and Kralovec

Seven Time the Sun by Shea Darian

Playful Parenting by Cohen

Also, I would love any suggestions. I read constantly.

I've read Playful Parenting. I enjoyed it, he had some good suggestions. It's been awhile since I read it, maybe I'll check it out again

For those of you teetering on the fence about antibiotics, especially for your children, Beyond Antibiotics is great. If you already avoid them, it probably won't be too inciteful unless you are looking for more reasons why to limit their use.

So, any opinons on any of the other books?

I know Seven Times the Sun is a classic, a wonderful book, one I recommend to others...but, frankly, I just don't jell with it, KWIM? I think the problem is that I want to use it for a certain type of inspiration, and that's not what it's meant for. It seems to be closer to a recipe book, in a way.

I *do* enjoy another of Shea Darian's books entitled Sanctuaries of Childhood.

if you're interested in child healthcare you might enjoy Take Charge of Your Child's Health by George Wootan.

I loved Guerilla Learning. It was the first book I read on the road to homeschooling. I don't know if it would be very valuable for someone who has already made the decision.

I've heard good things about Playful Parenting.
