Not only has he gone out of his way to find some sewing stuff at ebay for me, thinking that I might actually like what he picked, he's bending over backwards to get me some time off from the kids. lol he called one of my df while he was at work to arrange a moms night out for us tonight. While that's not going to work for the other local moms we are going out for lunch at 1 tomorrow. All thanks to dh making a few phone calls. Yeah, we could have figured it out on our own but honestly I'm in too much of a funk to do it.
Background: I needed time off last week but he was already obligated to my family for family activities so I let it go. I got some time off on Sunday :yipee: but then after a packed monday dd got sick and ran a fever for 2.5 day accomponied by some puking. Then she was fine but we still did the home bit as to not expose any of the small kiddos we'd be in contact with for our regular outings. And then yesterday was field trip day. I don't know about you but field trips are more than twice as difficult for me as a normal parenting day. That and ds got totally overstimulated on the ft and took over half the drive home (30 mins) to get back in control. After we establish it was not a potty issue (#1 choice when he acts this way) and blood sugar/food issue (#2 choice when he acts this way). :sigh: the good news was that on the way out of the bathroom I ran into another hsing mom who was on the same field trip and she was kind having 4-5 of her own with another on the way she totally understood. Life often sends us exactly what we need.
Now dh is saying that he got me another present but this one was cumbersome to bring home (he commutes 1.5 hrs each way via feet, train, and car) hummm only a few more mins and I'll know what that silly man is up too.
Now if I can only remember to reread this tread while dh is out of town next week and I'm going insane lol

Already, have had babysitting offers for mommy sanity. I'm lucky to have great friends to help out.
