So, on the weekends, do you

wake up and "prep" yourself the usual way, just like on weekdays?

Less? More?

Lately I find the urge to "pretty up" on the weekends, since I have time and all, and whom should I be pretty for if not for my husband first of all ...

I also find that I have more drive in general if I am satisfied with the way I look.

Your thoughts?

Nope. No way lol
On Saturdays I get up and drink coffee and start laundry in my jammies. Lucky if I run a brush through my hair lol. Then I brush my teeth and throw on some shorts and a tank top (no makeup) and run to the grocery store. In 114 degree heat I'd just sweat anyway. Come home, unload groceries and spend about 4 hours cleaning my house before hitting the pool with the kids. No reason to "pretty up".
On Sundays I play raquetball at 7:30am before it gets too hot so no prettying up there - get my workout gear on, drink some coffee and hit it.
When I get back I shower, and then I do pretty up , but thats because we go to the 9:30 service at church
When I get home it all comes off because we go swimming after we eat lunch lol
So I'd have to say I look alot more put together during the week. But even so, as soon as I hit the door after work I change and we swim. Its really hot here. Did I mention that?

Well, that is a motivating statement to me! No, I do the opposite and I shouldn't. I should give him as much as I give my clients (says the woman who is at the computer while cooking breakfast wearing non-sexy jammies with slept in hair and face).

I've really let it all go since it has gotten hot here. Hair up all weekend. Too hot to stand and blow-dry for 30 minutes. Also, I'm just too hot to have my hair on my shoulders all day. Okay, I'm just lazy, I admit it!

NO!

Unless I am going SOMEWHERE (I do not mean
the farmer's market or running errands), I do not
wear any makeup on the weekend.

Hair- my hair is a curly mess and I do not do anything with
it on a workday!

Heels- no!

I am usually really busy on the weekends with errands, cleaning,
or going to the beach.
I am not unhappy with how I look on the weekends it is just different
than during the week when I have to dress in business type attire.

On the weekends, I sleep late. When I do get up, I put on a pair of baggy shorts and a t-shirt and put my hair up in a pony tail. IF I do go out, if it is just to run up to the grocery store or convienent store, I will put decent clothes on.... if I am going out shopping or to dinner or something like that, then I will put on the proper clothes, do my hair, etc.....

I would rather spend the weekend in my comfy shorts and t-shirt... I don't have to worry about anyone so why not be comfy.

Good question! LOL

M-F I am working in an office in heels and dress slacks/ etc.

Sat am I sleep in until 9 am (YAY!!!!!! 3 hour sleep in is GREAT!) get up, throw on jeans and a t shirt. I do do my hair (curly hair sucks messy) and I usually throw on a bit of make up (eyeliner, blush and shadow) just cus that is 'me'. If it is really hot I don't do the make up.

I find for me I can't get 'motivated' and 'going' until I throw on that make up. I am too sleepy, slow, slackin' off. Once I put on the make up I am in 'work' mode. Which is important cuz Saturday is chores, top to bottom house cleaning, yard work, grocery shopping, errands, running kids around etc.

I swear Sat is more of a day of work than M-F!

I try to look good on weekends.

My clients and potential clients are from my neighborhood and I never know who I will run into and where.

I sometimes go mascara free and have blonde eyelashes vs dark ones and am okay with that on weekends.
