I'm so sad...

I teach preschool 3 days a week at the school my kids go to. I use the other two days to do house/shopping/me stuff. My principal talked to me today and they are making my classroom a 5 day room. She wants me to take it but I just don't think I can. If one of my kids is sick my mom helps now but she never has to watch my kids two days in a row. I'd not be able to help out in my kids classes, eat lunch with them, or go on their fieldtrips. I really loved teaching again after staying home for 6 years and now I'm going to have to say "no".

I guess I'm just having a poor me moment.

Oh, I'm sorry. That's really too bad. It sucks when they phase out part-time jobs that are good for moms. (hug) maybe something else will come up.

Ask!

Thats a very challenging role, keep it up!

I was thinking if you have time to learn and teach, please take time for foreign languages. I like Italian Languages so much, I am longing to learn their speeches. I been searching and surfing in the internet and here's what I found sprachreisen australien, cursos aleman alemania and German language courses. I think is one is great too study languages

Thanks everyone. I am going to tell my principal this morning that I can't accept the contract. She did offer to try and find someone to do the two day class but admitted she didn't think someone would want it. It's a private school, it would only be about 10 hours a week so they wouldn't even be making minimum wage.

Thanks for feeling my pain. At least it isn't a money issue for us. I think I'll start taking some masters level classes in the fall.

That's too bad but at least you know your limits.

Nice spam in the middle of this thread too.
