My ds is 14 months old and has now entered this phase (for about the past month) of hitting and biting my husband and I. I am just wondering if this is normal and anything that can be done to get us out of this phase quickly. We just say things like "No" and "We don't hit", but he keeps right on doing it. Haven't noiticed it to be around any particular time or anything. What to do??? TIA.

I promise you it is a phase. Logan and Devin both only bit me one time each and both times it was a shock and I popped them in the mouth before I even knew I was doing it and they never bit me again - I can't really help you there. But as far as the hitting goes - Logan went through a phase where hehit frequently. We distract him. We might say something like 'touch nice" but we don't make an issue out of it. Logan still hits his brother a lot, but that's partly because he gets a lot of attention from Devin even when he's just patting him. It gets him what he wants yk?
Don't worry about this - there is bigger stuff waiting for you I promise! LOL

it's a phase. It's sometimes frustrating to hear that though! ;)

Modeling gentle behavior, redirecting her when she's being rougher than you enjoy, and remembering that it will definitely pass.

Good luck mama!
