What do I do? My 3yr old bit me so hard tonight he almost broke the skin! I was so angry I had to go to the other room and calm down! I do not hit my kids, but when he does this my blood boils and I get scarey angry. I am the only one he does this to.......what does that say? Why me? I guess I can be thankful he does not do it to DD, but WTH?! It hurts like hell and pisses me off more than anything i have ever seen him do. It comes out of no where too, we can be having a good time and he'll just run over and chomp down. This has just started this wwek and Ihave got to find a solution to make it stop or I will go crazy. How do you make a 3yr old understand that in no way will this be tolerated? I showed hi mthe mark he left on me and told him that we do not bite in this house that he needed to say he was sorry . He said that I needed to say I was sorry! And then cried and said he wanted to watch a video. AARRGGGHHH! So you think petco carries muzzles for toddlers??? kate

hard as it may be mama, toss him into his room, or a corner, time out chair, whatever you use at that very moment! sometimes keeping them there may seem worse than a quick swat on the rear, but it's the only way that they seem to learn. biting seems to come so naturally to little ones. like yours, mine would do it ( and once he did break the skin) even when we were all in a good mood. wait till after the time out to talk to him about it. doing it before is like talking to a brick wall. good luck and hth.
