Maya decided that she should use a sharpie to color on her felt house, how can I get the marks out?

The only thing that I know of that takes black permanent marker off is methanol. But that isnt readily available. Hope someone else can help.

I've had good luck with Nail Polish remover on fabric.

Rubbing alcohol will do it on most surfaces.
