I have a ton of really ripe bananas and I'm looking for a recipe for banana muffins with whole wheat flour. Anyone?

Banana-Nut Muffins

3 Tbsp melted butter (or canola or other neutral oil)
1 Cup Unbleached White Pastry or All Purpose Flour
1 Cup Whole Wheat or Bran Flour
1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts
1/4 Cup Honey or Maple Syrup (or sugar)
1/2 tsp Salt
3 tsp Baking Powder
1 Egg
1 Cup mashed very ripe Banana
1/4 Cup Milk (may add a little more if needed)

Preheat oven to 400*. Grease muffin tin (this recipe is for a standard 12 compartment muffin tin, making medium sized muffins.)
Mix together dry ingredients. Beat together the egg, milk, and butter (or oil.) Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour the wet mixture into it.
Use a large wooden spoon to combine the ingredients swiftly. (Try to fold instead of mix.) Take care not to over mix or you will have very tough muffins. Stop as soon as dry ingredients are moist.
This batter will be lumpy, thick and moist. If too thick you can add a little more milk.
Spoon batter into prepared tins. Fill about halfway full. Handle the batter as little as possible. bake 20-30 minutes until nicely browned. A toothpick in the center will come out clean. Remove from oven and let rest 5 minutes before removing from tins.
Excellent Warm!
