I've been considereing getting one of these lately for a variety of reasons, but wanted some feedback from those who have them. . .

We have a few playgrounds that we can walk to in our neighborhoods (with sidewalks) and I've just been letting the big ones walk and the baby ride in the sling. but very often, my 3 year old is so tired that she will be cranky all the way home, and as the weather gets warmer, I'd imagine the sling will no longer be as comfortable for the baby. also, I'd like to not have to carry a bag with snacks and diapers and such on my back.

I could use the stroller, but the wagon seems that it would be more versitile in the neighborhood, yk? not to mention the one day my 5 year old fell and skinned her knee. . . we had walked, and I had to force her to limp the .5 mile home with blood streaming down her leg. . . but I had no other way to transport all of the kids.

I figure I'd get the biggest wagon, but want to hear from people who have them.

I've heard to avoid the plastic ones b/c they are loud and the wheels aren't good on various surfaces. . . any input?

Does anyone have any input on what size would fit in the back of a minivan? seems like I'd use it a lot of places. . .

Do you find a wagon easy to pull, or does it hurt your back?

I have this one and I love it! I love having inflatable tires on this wagon and our tricycle too. I can't stand walking with a friend who's pulling a a wagon with plastic wheels, it's so loud! Same thing with tricyles and some other plastic wheeled little cars, the noise drives me crazy!

we have the same wagon as Kori and the boys LOVE it! I just throw a small pillow in the back and they both fit in it and have plenty of room to move around. It also fits in the back of our explorer with no problem.. and that is a GREAT price listed on yahoo it includes shipping! My FIL payed alot more than that at western auto for the same wagon.

We have the one Kori linked to. I bought the pad set for the bottom and side rails so it's more comfy but you could just use a folded blanket. I also bought a soft sided cooler type thing that straps to the back so I'd have some where to stash a diaper, keys, wallet and water bottle intead of lugging a diaper bag and we even got the little trailer that attatches to the back and a umbrella that clips on for shade ( I found all of this on clearence a couple of years ago when I bought the wagon)

THis reminds me that I need to go get the wagon out of the shed and make sure it is clean and ready for summer!

This is the site I ordered the wheelborrow from and I saw they have the wagon handle extensions so I got one of those too. I'm 5'9" so I needed something to make the handle longer on the wagon.

My dad would too, he's a farmer and a JD man all the way! LOL :D

I really like our Radio Flyer all terrain with the removable sides.

It fits into most cars because we remove the sides which has been nice when riding with friends. It fits 3 toddlers easily but if I want to fit an older child (like my 7 year old cousin) it's nice to remove the side in front of her legs so she can hang her feet over or at least allow her to sit Indian Style with part of her leg hanging out. This might be nice since Peri is only getting older :)

My only complaint is that the removable sides are the wood painted red and the red does start to wear off making the wagon look older than 1.5 years. Might not be so bad if I had a garage or basement to store it in...

We have the ATW also. (My DD's 1st birthday present from Mawmaw.) Ours doesn't have the metal base it's wood. Though it was much cheaper at TRUs. :)

We love it. I agree, the inflatible wheels are the only way to go. I need to get the accessory pack with the cushions, cooler and umbrella. We use ours constantly. My DD loves to go for rides around the block in it. And we often go down to the park in it.

We also have the tricycle for my DD. And for my DS, we have the Little Roadster, a mini wagon (also one for DD :)), and the sled. His room is going to be done in Radio Flyer and old-timey toys. The Radio flyer stuff is just such great quality. You know it will last. I like to think my DD will be able to give her wagon to her children someday.
