aloha,
this is one of my family's favorites, and only takes a few minutes to prepare....

4 fresh tuna steaks
pickled ginger (sushi ginger) or a clove fresh ginger
soy sauce
1-2 cloves garelic (we use even more!)
sea salt and fresh ground pepper to taste

*coat both sides of each tuna steak with salt and pepper
*chop garlic (and ginger, if using fresh) and put into shallow dish (tupperware is good b/c it has a lid!)
*add steaks to dish and pour soy sauce in - enough to cover bottom of dish
*marinate at least 1 hour in fridge - longer for more taste
*grill or broil in broiler for 2-3 minutes each side

I serve this one with steamed spinach (also w/garlic), fresh green salad, or roasted potatoes...or whatever is around the house!

I hope you like it - let me know! :)
