Dh and I are dying to see "Gods and Generals." I have the book (but see also March 2003 what are you reading thread for obvious excuse why haven't read it).

Just moved to the desert and don't have a sitter (cause I am over protective, particular and picky about who cares for my children- better do a *whole* lot more than watch or sit :D) so we can't seem to get to it together :(

We loved this movie. But, be warned that the ads were deceptive. We thought it was going to be about Robert E. Lee and it was about 75% about Stonewall Jackson and the other 25% was split between Robert E. Lee and Jeff Daniels character. It also had a intermission half way through for a pee break.
