Just wondering...

We don't have a budget set up yet, but we're going to. I love books and I end up buying them way too much. I'll just go into a bookstore to "look" and I come out with a pile and spent $50 (it happened again last week  )
Dh does the bills, so he usually isn't happy about it. You should see me try to explain it every time :)

I'm strictly library. For an irl bookclub I rate all the suggested books based on local library availibility. They know my no purchase stance for book club reading.
I've gotten to the point where I will only purchase a book after reading/viewing it a deaming it worthy. Not many can pass the test anymore.

I usually go to thrift stores or second hand book shops. Sometimes I do Amazon, but only if the book is really cheap. The book I got right now is from the Salvation army, cost about .75cents and I can't stop reading it!

I buy a lot of books from the thrift stores & used book stores. Also, online there is www.bookcloseouts.com--they have very reasonable prices on more recent books. It is kind of hard to browse their site, but sometimes I just pick a category and just browse. Many times you can find a discount code for even more off--I just type bookcloseouts discount code into google.
