OK I found out today that there is a girl who lives near me who has a baby (two months old I think??) anyway, she is breastfeeding, at least for 18 months which I think is absolutely outstanding!!! I am so proud of her for that!! Anyway, I found out today that she smoked weed the other night which ticks me off for more than just the breastfeeding issue.. but oh well. Now, WITHOUT starting a flame fest, getting upset or anything, can someone PLEASE give me a place where I can find info to somehow pass on to this girl about the affects of pot and breastfeeding. I'm not trying to start an argument, I just really want to find info that I can somehow pass along to her. Also, how can I approach this with her? I've only met her a few times, but I do know someone who is very close friends with her... Also, she drinks a ton of caffine.. any info on that would be great too. Like today, I was told she had two cups of coffee in one feeding!!! She was drinking it while breastfeeding!! OK, maybe that's ok.. I have no clue.. I was unable to breastfeed my son, and still a year later have serious issues with that and get upset about it. It breaks my heart to see this girl so headstrong about breastfeeding, but not watching what she is putting into her body!! I am not trying to start an argument.. please don't share personal experiences or anything like that. I know a few months ago we had a similar discussion on the market board and it turned into a mess.. I don't want that.. I simply want some resources if anyone has them that I can somehow pass along to this girl without offending her or getting her mad. I appreciate any help or resources anyone has to offer...
