know there is an older review but wanted a new thread to say.....
Great movie!
Longish in length and slow paced but very REAL in that I could so understand how this could be truly a man who is having these experiences.
The much touted scene of Kathy Bates being seen sans clothes was so fast and taken at a side angle you would miss it if you blinked.....but brava for her!
I enjoyed watching this movie and enjoyed thinking about it for a week afterwards. (there is a lot to think about later and so many things going on in it!)
Go see it if you get the chance. Don't wait for video or DVD it is a big screen event which will best be viewed in a theatre and not at home where you tend to get up and down more often. Something about sitting in a seat in the dark draws you into the pace of the film.
It is not a feel good film....it is more of a feel many emotions film. Don't take your dh if he is already depressed though!(makes aging of men seem unpleasant)
