We finished the playstands a few days ago and I'm finally getting around to picts.
Supplies: $37 for the wood
6(1x12x48)
8(1x4x48)
Screws.
Tools:
Jigsaw.
Drill with counter sink bit.
Screwdriver (battery operated)
Palm sander. Belt sander would have been nice.
Finish:
Unfinished at this point.
**I did NOT clean for the picts**
These are in the as the kids left them condition.

Notes:
The kids have been climbing and jumping on the big shelf and I'm glad we did the extra support for it. They also love useing the shelf and floor as bunk beds.
The cross bars were a necesity since the first thing the kids did was know the stands over.
The cross bars (originally I planed on awning at a later date) are not sanded and will need to be remade since the kids have been taking them off and having sword play with them. When the next ones are made we will most likely choose to screw them in place.
I will be putting cup hooks on the bottom of the top shelf and I have baskets that I hope will hang from them.
:D just wanted to share for those who are planing/thinking of making them.
*if* I had to do it over again I would consider doing 18" wide boards but this time around the additional cost put me off.
