My friend made one of these for my DD when she was a baby - it lasted pretty well up until this past year - and when some of the threads came loose, I kept it to sew back together again 'cause it is just such a nice baby toy - very easy for little hands to grab!

Oh, my DD would live this. Now once I figure out this whole sewing thing maybe I could give it a try:) Hopefully Dd won't be a teen by then. LOL Thanks for the link.
