My child has been with EPGY math from 1st Grade and she's just finished 4th Grade here in Hong Kong. Now we would like her to continue the course offered by EPGY in the US, not with our Hong Kong administrator, Infokids. Here I have a question. In Hong Kong, EPGY course is not just offered by online but does have a big bunch of paper-based homework and a student has to finished all the sets of homework as well as online coursework in order to proceed to the grade exam. Is there any homework other than the online work in a course in the US? In fact, the amount of homework is just so much and my child got almost fed up with the course as those sets asked her almost the same things over and over again. Caty, there is no paper homework in the US, at least as far as we've been (my son is about halfway through the 5th grade coursework). It's all online.

You can print out worksheets, but it's not a requirement.

Thanks for your sharing and it just sounds great! EPGY US staff said my child can join the 5th grade without taking an aptitude test. In fact, she isn't so keen to go on with Infokids here because of the heavy homework but if it's all online she says it's ok! We'll enrol her probably after the midterm break with EPGY US as she starts English course (RWL) from Oct. 1st and we want to see how it goes first.
