After the end of this quarter I will have just one more class to be done with all college chemistry - inorganic and organic.

BUT. This one last class if offered during the summer.

Which means - 6 week marathon of EVERY day 6 hours, after work lecture + labs = lab write-ups due every other day + 2 lad quizzes + 3 midterms + 1 final.

That would make a test every week (and those tests are hard I tell you and I am no whimp when it comes to studying)

*** I usually take summers off because of the above AND because it's dang hot AND because I need at least a few weeks a year to spend properly with my family ***

*** I thought I *could* take the class in the Fall quarter and everything be nice. The class is not offered until Spring ***

This means -
1) I will lose much of what I've learned so far
2) We are going to have a new book (another are close to $200, yes, they are ridiculously expensive)
and
3) Spring quarter is taught by Dr. Professor From He**

Choosing between rock and the hard place here :(

That totally sucks! Good luck with whatever decision you make!

i'm sorry...that isn't an easy choice.

i do think i'd go with the "get it over with now" approach, if it were me. it will be hard. super hard. but only for a few weeks...and then it's over.

Well it is really only half the summer right? I would go for summer term personally. Just get it done with.

Me too...I'd bite the bullet and get it done this summer. Timing's not great but I would not want to take it in the spring when the info is not fresh in my mind.

Thank you guys.

The decision was made for me - the summer class is only offered during mornings.

I work, so it's not an option now.

Can you by chance take the class from a different school?

i do think i'd go with the "get it over with now" approach, if it were me. it will be hard. super hard. but only for a few weeks...and then it's over.this is what I'm thinking. I do know from experience that summer terms are harder because they are cut in 1/2 usually so there is much more to do in a lot less time. :( But it sounds like you can take it on and do it. :cross: Good luck!
