who has tried to apply this to their homes?

I am finally checking this theory out. Lots of online stuff about it. I painted my bedroom's accent wall in hopes of acheiving better chi in my room. My life is such a wreck right now I figured it couldn't hurt. Lol.

I will try to post pics.

the big ball of light in the corner is a round paper lantern style light, the windows will have white sheers soon. I carefully angled the camera to hide all the clutter on the other side of the bed and at the base of the closet (the white curtains under my healing flags.

I love how when I wake up, I can read the healing flags first thing. They really have been healing for me!

Looks great. We do it in a relaxed fashion. I used the book "Move your stuff, Change your life"

There is an element for each nsew direction and you should find something that represents that element and put it in it's proper place on your space.
Also hang bells over your front door, I forget why though.
Depending on which direction your front door faces it will bring certain things into your life, and what color it is also matters.
Our 8 sided room is excellent Feng Shui because it represents all directions. As crummy as that room s now something about it feels right to me, must be the Feng Shui.

you can get a bagua map on line - and place it over your house's overall plan. If you are missing a section of your house in one of the baguas you can do something outside to help balance it. You can also place the map over each room.

Rivka,

your self-portrait is beautiful! I have never seen your hair before! Lovely!!

Updates of my room....

the energy flow is much better. I now LOVE my room. I spend very little time in it, which seems to keep it cleaner.

I sleep much better.

Thank you, but, it's not really my hair. It was a good purchase.

Your room looks nice!

Well, I gave up Feng Shuing my house. I have a restroom in my wealth corner - the worst thing you can have there :(

And it does seem like we constantly "flushing" the money away :badidea:

I think there are things you can do to balance the fact that your bathroom is in the wealth area. I can't quite remember, though. Maybe something red? or gold? Keep the mirror clean. Sorry. Maybe if you do a google search you'll see what can be done to fix it.
