Oh, I'm sooooooooooo happy!!!!!!!!

I heard from Penn State today and I am officially admitted to the Math Education Department for a M.Ed. degree to start in June of 2009. (And I am officially commanded to brush up on my Calculus to be ready to start with Calculus II and Matrices as my first two classes this summer.)

My advisor had a middle-school math emphasis, too, so we should be a good match.

I'm very excited! (And I meet with another department at the school on Friday to discuss a possible assistantship.)

Yay! I am really happy for you. I HATE calculus. lol

I *loved* Calculus back in the day but I was really young and that was over half my lifetime ago so I have been doing ALEKS to warm up the old brain again and then I'm going to follow the Calculus I syllabus at Penn State to review on my own.

congratulations! I am halfway to a graduate degree, and I now realize that school is like a Chinese buffet... you enjoy it to a point and then you are so full that it becomes painful

ok bad anaology. I still like school but I am so over 20 hour days...
