What a chump. lol. I swore off puppies...but he's so stinking cute so I caved. His potty training is going miserably. I had to knuckle down today, too many kidlettes trying to help so mama had to take over the pup.
I'll post pictures next week. dd took my camera with her "up north" hoping to catch a picture of the bear roaming my sister's place. *shudder*
Anyway, he's a 7 week old, blue merle aussie with pale blue eyes. We call him Tug. Like Tugboat. Or tug-o-war. lol. He's a big boy, it just fit.
Oh, I forgot, there's a picture from the ad i can swipe, hold on....

thanks. He is seriously cute. We all kind of fight over him when we flop at night...until he wakes up at 3 am. ugh.

He's so cute! I will be watching a friend's puggle puppy for a week starting on Wednesday. Not looking forward to the potty training but I can handle it for one week. Hope your adorable puppy learns quickly!

He's cute but I'm sticking to my shorthaired dogs LOL
Will he be herding anything goatlike in the near future :muaha:

Oh he's beautiful!!!
Give him a job and teach him from the get go that the chickens are a no no! Aussie's are great herders (I know I'm spelling that wrong, long day!), but he needs to know his job right away and be shown a firm hand when it comes to livestock and what he can and can't do.

He's our 2nd Aussie...he's a companion dog to our 7 year old Aussie queen . ;) She's already a good teacher too. She gave him a significant adjustment his 2nd day here, but now she's hustling him around the yard, in and out with the chickens. I'm so proud of her.
The Puppy's crate training is upsetting her tho, she doesn't like his crying so she soothes him by laying in front of the door.
He could care less about the chickens (whew), there were a lot of them (free range) at the farm he came from. I originally considered a rescue but got a sharp pain behind my left eye thinking about socializing a young troubled dog with the hens. ugh.
He's a perfect fit already. Just perfect. *knock on wood* lol

he might. There were nigerians at the fair...dh was all, oh geez I didn't know they were so little!! those would look cute in the yard.
Jo, he's actually a full size aussie. I was going to go mini but I couldn't wait and this little guy was just 10 minutes north of us. Patience sort of escapes me. ha.
