Whew! The girls and I are back from the doctor's office, and the trip went very well! I was nervous because I haven't been out with both girls on my own much yet -- and Amelia's first checkup was crazy because Josie kept having clingy meltdowns (and that was with DH there to help). She had one touchy moment in the waiting room, but all was well after that. Hooray for small victories!

This was also one of the first times I've really used a sling out in public. I never feel like baby is situated in there well, but we just went for it. Worked out great! As an extra bonus, two moms in the waiting room commented on the sling which led to a nice chat about slings, the birth center, etc. :)

Glad it went well! I am finding it very hard to venture out on my own with one little one! Love your siggy pic....
