I recently imported five years worth of old blog posts into one blog and have been having fun reading old posts. I was reading right around the time we made the decision to homeschool and I had to laugh when I read this:

We’re going to homeschool starting this year. My mom hates, no, loathes the idea. I’m sure you’ll be interested to know that not only will I be “turning Kayla into a social cripple” but I also will be “throwing away her future.”

I guess I can laugh about it now since my daughter is neither a social cripple or without a future. :D I wonder what my mom would say if I confronted her with that now?

LOL. Homeschoolers have no chance what so ever for socializing do they?

my MIL says people will always treat my kids as tho they are uneducated and they will never get into a good college.

aside from her I've heard nothing but compliments on my homeschooling them. I'm just sitting back and waiting. One day she'll see.
