I live in northwestern VT and we have a few small used curr. sales but I can't find anything larger than that. I would love to go to something BIG where I can see and touch;) a wide variety of books.
I'm 4 hrs from Boston, 5 from NY and 1 from Montreal. Can you help me find something? Or point me in the right direction of where to look.
Thanks.:)

I bet you will have to go to Boston for it.
I found this one...it's um....this weekend.
MassHOPE Homeschool Convention (http://www.mhconvention.blogspot.com/)
FRC: Expo 2008 (http://frc.homestead.com/Expo2008/Expo2008_Index.html)
that is the closest one I know of, but you also have my interest piqued... wher are you? We are doing a homeschoolers family camp in Starksboro VT in Sept.

We're in South Hero. About 30 minutes north of Burlington, right on Lake Champlain.
Thanks for the links, I'm half tempted to throw the kids in the car and drive to MA just to look at some books that I've been thinking about.
That would be nuts!! I might just do it.
Everything is far away in Northern VT except gorgeous views and a wonderful place to be :)
Seriously though, it is a far drive just to look at books. Maybe that's a good way to justify a big order with a company that has a decent return policy, keep what works and return the rest?
If there is stuff you are looking for that I own we should meet up in September- I have quite a lot in a few specific areas (Waldorf and Enki mostly)

Thanks Jo, I'll keep that in mind.
We stayed at home and played in the sunshine. I think I was feeling adventurous because Rob is in The Netherlands and won't be home for another week. We have lots of friends in Boston and I was thinking...but no. The sun was so warm and bright and it felt great to just play outside with the kids.
I'd love to hear more about your homeschooling camp. There are so many things up here for homeschoolers, it's fantastic.:) Is this something that you put together or that some place is offering?
