It's a Robotics class for younger kids. I know the two teens who are doing it and they are great. It's a 6 week course. The time sucks for me. It's 2:30-3:45 pm on Wednesdays. We have speech therapy in the morning, art class in the evening. I would have to have my 5, 3 and baby with me while my 7 y/o does the class. I'd have to get my FIL to pick up DD from school which is something she would hate as she doesn't like her grandpa's lectures, lol.

I could drive back home but it's 25 minutes away. Kind of pointless.

Can I just say no?? Besides, 2pm has always been a sleepy time for me. Even before kids. My 3 y/o and baby sometimes nap at 2pm, too.

ack--saying No is so hard sometimes. I agree with Branwyn, though. Will they do the class again? If they plan to maybe you could suggest picking a different day/time so that more people might be able to come?

One of the teens is HS so that is why it's later. She does her schoolwork in the morning.

I assume they'll do another class if this one is successful. I should talk to their mom...

I'll say it with you:

NOOOOOOOO! No, no, no, no, no.

I cannot function in an over-scheduled life.

Maybe they can take it in the future, if it's offered again - or maybe you can find a compromise and get something they can do from home.
