DD has enjoyed "How it's Made" lately (Science Channel). We did not get into "Meercat Manor" (Animal Planet) but I know that was a favorite for a lot of people.

Discovery Channel and Animal Planet have lots of shows we love. The littles like Little Einstein, Wiggles, Wonder Pets, Dora and Diego. I really like Noggin for the little one because there are no commercials during the day. The older boys like Jeff Corwin, How its Made, Big Cat Diary, Mythbusters, and The Andy Griffith Show.

My daughter loves the Food Network (Iron Chef and Unwrapped), HGTV (Househunters), Discovery channel and that show Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern or whatever his name is. These are the things she mostly watches but sometimes watches those annoying Disney shows too (Suite Life, Raven, etc).

Also if you have digital cable, check out the freebies through On Demand. There are some great choices there!

We LOVE Mythbusters.
Also, Ruff Ruffman...is that the name of the show or just the character?
I have bought three Signing Times dvd's because our pbs station doesn't have it. They all love that.
