I think this should be our new group! For all of us that want a large family but are just starting the journey. I am pregnant with my third and am so wanting to have a large family.

I have had two c-sections so far, but am planning to have a homebirth with this baby. If we hadn't had the c-sections we would have already had more. I am so praying that this delivery goes very wonderfully and then we have 6 more!!

Just wanted to say that in a world where many people may look at you and your family and think you are crazy, there are those of us that look at you and think " I hope that's me someday!!"

I keep wondering , at what point will I think I have a large family? I am pg with #5 right now. By today's standards, I think that means I have a large family right? But I sure don't feel like it. I think 7 or 8 is big,LOL!
I still kinda feel like a wanna be,lol!!

We have ten children ranging in age from 19 years to 2 years old. I have seven biological children and three adopted. Always room for more :)

I do realize a big family isn't for everyone, and that's ok. These days having three or four is considered a large family too.

I consider myself a wannabe too!

I am a wanna be mother of a large family. (if 5 is large to you) I have always wanted to have 5 kids. right now I have 2 boys of my own(with my hubby) 4 and 20 months, and I have a step-son who is 12. my husband wants 1 more at the most, and that is only b/c he wants a girl. if our last kid was a girl, he would not agree to have another kid (for at least 5 years in my opinion, although he would probably say he dont want any more at all! :lol: , but I know him. he will give in for at least 4 total.) I did tell him in the beginning that I wanted to have at least 4-5 kids. We've been married for 5 yrs. right now we dont have room for anymore kids. We live in a house he bought b4 we met. Its a small 3 bedroom 1 bath, about 850 sq ft. and he said right now he dont want any more until we get a diff place, which will literally be at least 5 years from now. I can't wait that long tho. I want at least 1 more right now, (well in the near future) I think we can make it work. Only our two boys we have together live with us. and I know that makes a difference. we have our boys sharing a room with a crib and bunk beds in their room right now, and the other room is a play room. "IF" we had another one right now the youngest would move in to the bunk beds when the baby is born, my oldest wold go to the top bunk, when the baby is about 3 months that is when he/she moves into the room. The baby will be in our room for the 1st 3 months being breastfed, easier for me that way, lol

I just had my fourth 5 weeks ago that makes two boys and two girls now, and I am 23, me and my husband want more for sure, I say 7 but we'll see what life throws us.

I have just the four.I wanted more but my body and other issues have stopped us right where we are.I think we may just foster or adopt in the next few years.I know our family has love and security to offer childeren in need.

I too want 5 (at least). I am the baby of 5.
I have 4 girls age 14 yrs to 4 months. I want to keep on having girls!!

Ive had blood pressure problems (preg #2 bedrest/meds from month 3, induced 37 wks and #4 meds from month 3, definate signs of toxemia at end, induced 37 wks).
Doc says I should not have any more...I will 35 in March. Im having a hard time with that.
Now, dh says no more..he wants me to be around awhile. I think I will be ok since its every other pregnancy. However, my bp is not any better now then after delivery this time. =-(
But Im going for more!

You can do it!!! My first two were csections and I went on to have 6 wonderful VBACs. I love my large family. :heart smirk:
