Sans Scrubbing? I DO NOT LIKE SCRUBBING, as a matter of fact I have been known to go a LONG LONG time before scrubbing my showers and bathtubs. So give it to me.. I WANT PRETTY SHOWERS WHERE I CAN LEAVE MY CURTAIN OPEN;)

Kaboom... I spray my shower/tub/fixtures down about twice a week after morning showers, let it sit 10 minutes, rinse.

On occasion I scrub the tub with a bath uh puffy thing and some baking soda.

when we had glass shower doors, we used that after-shower-spray stuff to prevent it from building up on the glass

a squeegee works well, too

otherwise, I have a scrubbing bubbles shower cleaner thing now - i got it free from buzz - and I haven't tried it, but it might solve your problem.

I think you are going to have to do an initial good scrubbing, then maybe try that daily shower spray to keep it from building up?

A squeegee or wiping down after the last shower with your bath towel will help keep the build up away.

I should say though, I have an acrylic tub and shower surround... not say, cast iron and tile, which was difficult to keep clean when I had it.

in my experience, cast iron is just HARD to keep clean.

kaboom is a soap scum/mineral remover.

I have used the Method Shower Spray (from Target) for the last four years. It works FABULOUSLY. We have glass on two sides and tile on the other and I never have to scrub anything.
We spray it once a day (my husband and I both shower, but I have spray duty).

Ditto Method!!!! Run don't walk to buy some! I have used the tilex brand before and in addition to it smelling like chemicals for hours it does not work as well as the Method. Plus when you get in the shower the next time it reactivates the smell yucky cleaner smell, if I can smell it do I really want my kids bathing in it? Either dh or I spray once a day and I have not scrubbed in at least a year. If you have terrible soap scum you might have to scrub that off. But we have ran out and had some mold and minor soap scum going on and all we do is spray, in a few days like magic it's gone! We have been using it since Victoria was born so at least 5 yrs. I love the way it smells too.

I've heard good things about the scrubbing bubbles automatic tub cleaner sprayer thing.

But around here, that's dh's job.

I bought a can of scrubbing bubbles one time but hadn't used it yet. We had company coming and I asked Justin to clean the bathroom. When it went it, I had never seen the tub and shower so clean. I commented that he had just gotten himself a new permanent job and raved and raved about how hard he scrubbed. He said, "I just followed the directions." That stuff works soooooo well. BUT, the fumes are so bad that I can't use it. It gives me a serious headache.

Scrubbing Bubbles ® : We Work Hard So You Don't Have To (http://www.automaticshowercleaner.com/)

This is what I've heard good things about. I can't use it right now since we took out the window that was in the shower when we put new siding on the house....we have a drywall hole and need to redo the tub area still.

If I could use it, I'd be all over it!

My secret was Blanca but Blanca has disappeared (not shown up for a couple weeks and I don't know what happened to her) so......

I better figure out the other way to get it sparkling clean!
