I remember your kitchen from last year. :) I love the wainscotting and your hutch is so country and pretty. You must use that as a breakfast table? Do you have a dining room for family meals?

We use the kitchen as overflow when we have guests. Sometimes dh and I will eat in there for lunch. The boys eat all their meals at our dining room table because it is open to the living room and usually we let them watch tv while we eat (I know terrible but it is our life). Anyway so if dh and I want to chat during lunch we will eat at the kitchen. The table in the kitchen was my parents, my grandmother gave it to them when they got married so it has seen alot of use.:lol:

I really love our kitchen it is one of my favorite rooms in this house.

Looks Great!! I too love the wainscotting, I want to do that in my dining room from the chair rail down.. Did you put it in? Wondering what kind of mess it'd be for dh to put up lol

We didn't put it up. I have a feeling that it is original with this house (built in the 50's) but nobody really remembers. I think it would be interesting to know what is original in this house and what isn't.

yea....i would love to see pictures of my house and how it's changed over the years...built in 1962.
