What do you clean your tub with, besides typical cleaners, like Lysol, etc? I want something more environmentally friendly, but still effective?

Seventh Generation's Bathroom cleaner works really well for me. Sometimes you need to use a little elbow grease but it's better than using a harsher chemical (now if I could just break my bleach habit).

Baking Soda and Borax work great. For the tub I usually use baking soda and vinegar. I just put some Borax in my load of laundry. I also have been using Mrs. Meyer's All Purpose Cleaner, Geranium Scented. It smell great but the smell can be overwhelming for us so I try not to over spray.
I have to go clean the tub now so I can give my son a bath.

Baking soda. I keep mine in an old parmesan cheese shaker.

I saw this on TV. Baking soda mixed with liquid dish detergeant (a sloppy paste) and one of those plastic sponge things. We tried it on our tub and it worked pretty good considering how icky it is (we need to re caulk)

I usually use baking soda and a squirt of shampoo. Sounds silly but, I really hate using chemicals in my tub because I rinse forever so my kids don't sit in a chemical bath. I also use kaboom in my shower/tub after showers and honestly, that keeps on top of the hardwater build up really well.

I use one of those round mesh dish scrubbers, my foot, and a squirt of shampoo while I'm taking a shower. I do it a few times a week and the tub stays clean. It's the only thing I've found that I'll consistently keep doing.

For the time being its the baking soda as most of you said, but I remember having got a lotion as a gift from a friend. It was strange too giving a tub cleaner as a gift in our anniversary but it was the best. I have also forgotten the name of the lotion it was a blue colored bottle with white stripes, see if this info is of any help to others.

Either baking soda, borax (great for really dirty/greasy cleaning jobs) or even just a squirt of Dr. Bronners works just fine!
