Ok, so I'm doing this HUGE declutter, simplify thing and it is going great. I have a huge box of jewel cases and our CDs and inserts are in a CD book.

We bought iPods LAST winter and all our CDs are on our iPods.

Should I sell all our CDs since they are on our iPods or is there a reason to keep them around?

I want to SELL! I want the $ and I want to have even less :) Thinking of the box of jewel cases and the storage books gone and all on our little iPods and some extra cash is making me :D

BUT, I don't want to do the wrong thing. Enlighten me!

I believe that legally, if you sell the CD, you have to delete it off all media devices.

Another concern...your ipod blows, or your harddrive craps out, and your are totally out. Ask me how I know. The only music I didn't have to go and re-get is the stuff I still had on cd's. :(

Yeah, we had this recently happen... the perfect storm. LOL

I just have most of ours stored. I still use some cds though in the car since we don't have an mp3 jack. Next car.

I ditched the jewel cases and put all mine in binders. Jewel cases went to landfill.

i freecycled all my cases and put the CD and paper in a binder.
