Bad sewing mommy-- no cookie.

This is somewhat of a temper tantrum for me. Lorelei has been on a character kick, wanting things with Pooh Bear, Hello Kitty, and Strawberry Shortcake on her clothes. Its totally not my style.

I have made her a few things, but its really not something I want to do. So, this is the first in a series of compromises. Well, not really a compromise. As always I just sort of make what I want and since I still dress her they get worn at least a bit. I went out of my way to make them look homemade. Like I said-- bad sewing mommy. In my defense, I happen to like rick rack.

It IS Strawberry Shortcake, just the old style one from a vintage 1980 fabric I got at the thrift store. The strawberries are also a vintage find.

TOO cute! our compromise is pj's and bedding :) You can have as much thomas, buzz lightyear and bob the builder you want on your pjs and pillowcases LOL. (as long as it is cotton, although right now we have a purchased set that is 50/50).
