It's actually the one I got Emaline for Christmas last year ,2006. She decided that sewing was not going to be something she is good at :D
Anyway it is a crappy Shark ,that was the only thing I could get at the time. Right now when I use the overcast stitch the top stitches are loopy, just sometimes, sometimes they are fine.
I tried a new needle, I tried doing all kinds of stuff to the tension, I have threaded and rethreaded it a million times.
It does this on any kind of fabric and using any kind of thread.
Any ideas???
I hope to get a new(to me) sewer either this month when we get our tax refund or in May when I will get some $ but I really need to make some stuff right now. And this is soo frustrating!

If it's the overcast stitch - my old machine just doesn't do a nice overcast stitch - everything looks pulled and yucky, and I was much better off not trying to "finish" the insides of clothing. Which is why I never did. Until Amina sold me her old serger. Anyway, I feel your pain. I wish I knew how to ease it. :hug:

I just zigzag to finish edges....way simpler, and looks fine. :p
