I bought over $200 worth of items on around Nov 30. I received nothing. I emailed 2x in the last 2 weeks, no response. the last time I told them that if I did not hear back in 48 hrs I was going to my bank to get charges reversed, still nothing. So, I guess I will be going to the bank on Wednesday, but I am just surprised I suppose. Has anyone ordered from them?

I have only ordered FIAR from Rainbow Resource, but have you tried going to the Five In A Row forums? You should be able to contact them directly through there. There also may be some information about the family that could be helpful. I know that they have been struggling lately to keep the business open. Ebay and the second hand market has really hurt them.

I tried to respond to this post the other day, but there was an issue with the boards at the time.

Once I tried to sign up on the fiar forums I was blocked from accesing them & they are not allowing me to join.

I gave up & filed mail fraud charges & have faxed a letter to my bank to have the charges reversed. I am really,really disappointed. It may seem silly, but I am even more upset because i bought the religion supplement from them. Religious education from a company that scammed me. nice! Now I am trying to decide if I want to buy it secondhand & use it - do I want to educate my child with a method developed by a person with those kinds of ethics? I really thought this sounded like a good method, so I am disappointed!

I ordered about this time last year and they were shut down over the holidays, if I remember correctly. I did receive an email or something on the site indicated that though.

I have met the Lamberts in person and they are def not scammers. I am not active on their boards anymore, so don't have any idea what is up with them personally that they did not respond, but I do not know they are not scammers.

I would - but I just dont know the point. I odered nearly 1 1/2 months ago. i got 2 emails confirming my oder. THey took the $ out of my acount. But I never received anything AND they have not responded to my emails. I dont know how it can be an error. I have even be scanning my bulk & trash before deleting just to be certain I didn't miss a response from them. My bank agreed & gave me my $ back.

It didn't prohibit my friend from registering either, the account was just never activated. She was a little frustrated, but eventually discovered the issue.

I'm so sorry this happened to you and I hope that things get resolved. When you have called them do you always get a machine? Wondering if somehow with time differences you don't get a real person? I don't know... Hoping things work out for you!

No, its not a time difference issue. And while they responded to Clane's emails to them, they still have not contacted me. I really have a hard time believing it is a miscommunication - if they can respond to emails from other people, why not contact me?

I order from FIAR. I ordered the books that go with FIAR Vol.1 and 2. It took my order WEEKS to arrive. I want to say 6 weeks? The books are shipped from a warehouse or something.

I did call-after three weeks of waiting and no books I called and the man reminded me that the books ship from elsewhere; I think it was a warehouse. He was nice about it but I felt like saying, "You don't understand! I feel motivated NOW, I need those books NOW!" LOL

I got an email from UPS saying it was to be shipped! Still no email from a person, and I've already got my $ back, so not sure whats up!

yuck, what a mess!

Well, the box came today. DS got to the door & signed for it before I could get there. They sent a note apologizing for the delay & they added 3 hardcover books. But I dont think that excuses not contacting me & at this point I'm not as gung-ho to use it as I was in November!
I am really worried that they are going to go to my bank now & mess up my account. Since I did not hear from them I gave up & got my $ back. I just payed the IRS several thousand dollars & have just a few hundred left to last til the 25th.

I'll look at them & decide if I still wan to use them ,but if I dont I guess I wil end up paying to send them back, since If I email them saying I dont want them I am assuming they wont answer it! And with my luck I will pay the $ to send them back just to find out they have managed to get the $ out of my bank.
