My dh loves to drink green tea, and I am looking for a more frugal source. He drinks 3 cups/day, and the last box I bought from the grocery store was $4.59/40 tea bags. Is there a cheaper source? Maybe online?

TIA :)

I regularly find Prince of Peace brand, a large box that is 200 or 300 bags, I forget which, for $2.99 at Big Lots.

I buy loose leaf green tea a lb at a time through our co-op or other on-line source and then dh puts some in a tea ball every morning. This is much cheaper than buying bags and eliminates alot of the packaging that comes along with the tea.

I buy tea, etc from Gourmet spices, herbs, essential oils, potpourri, green tea - bulk and wholesale (http://www.sfherb.com) They have a minimum order requirement but their prices are great.

What do you like to buy from them (besides tea)?

potpourri botanicals and lavender, spices (cinnamon, peppercorns, garlic powder, vanilla extract, sea salt), stevia leaf. I just saw that they now have vegetable broth powder. I'll be ordering that next time.

My favorite tea is a mix of rooibos, chamomile flowers, and peppermint (equal parts).

I don't usually order fragrance/essential oils from them as I've found better prices elsewhere.
