I wanted to send along some pictures and a short video clip of what our family has been up to this late fall and going into winter season. The kids and I have been very busy with school and therefore there have been lots of fun photo opportunities :) I just sent all this to family and friends via email because we are just not going to get it together for Christmas cards and the like this year. I'm guaging that that is the case with a lot of families since mostly all I've received this year is cards from credit card companies and clients of dh- borrrrrrrring!

You will see pictures of:

-their day at horse camp with Grandma trail riding

-preparing and enjoying a traditional Sabbath meal (learning about Hebrew language and culture)

-rock climbing at a local children's hands on museum

-studying volcanos (and making them erupt!)

-balloon rockets (when we were studying the solar system)

-kite flying at a local beach when we were learning about oceans/beaches and waves

-visiting the local aquarium's hands on area

-fun at the Art Museum hands on studio

-Dd applying for her first personal library card (as a result of passing some reading work in school)

-a picture of our 'Under the Sea' dinner that culminated the end of our sealife study

-a gingerbread house party hosted at a friends house

-and lastly you will find pictures of Dd at her girlfriend's 'Winter Fairy' birthday party this past Monday (the little girl she is dancing with in the pictures is her 'best friend').

We may be behind on the Christmas cards but its just because we are having so much fun doing other stuff this time of year. Thanks for looking!
