We presently use Abeka, and while I like the way it is set up and the progression of things, the constant use of "King James Bible" sentences (which we don't read; we use NIV) make it very difficult for my ds to identify verbs, nouns, subjects, etc... He calls it "Yoda speak" since it sounds funny to him. I want a good Language Arts program that uses regular sentences, so he can learn better.

Rod and Staff. We're using it for grammar (English) and it's very thorough.
